Project. After the renovation of their school, 260 upper school students from Horw now learn in an improved technical, functional and visually upgraded environment. The suspended double-walled glass construction in Closed Cavity Facade (CCF) structure was accomplished with engineered facade profiles, in which the internal insulating glazing and the outer laminated safety glazing are incorporated in a single high-thermal-insulating profile. The Makro Architecture VISION fabric is laminated to complete the system aesthetic and reduce solar gain.
Concept/Design. Three color options were used for this application: TI 260/25B, PR 260/25B Copper and PR 260/25B Gold. The rhythmic interaction of colored glasses creates a distinctive and unique appearance.
